Home Energy Evaluation Packages
Even if your dream is as big as generating your own energy and living totally independent from the utility grid, an ideal place to start is with an energy audit. For the same reason you don’t run your air conditioning with all the windows open, you wouldn’t spend tens of thousands of dollars on a solar electric system without first making sure your home is as energy efficient as possible. A home energy audit takes the guesswork out of home energy efficiency improvements by showing you exactly where to start on the road to energy independence and saving money.
At ENERGY WISE CONSULTING, LLCTM we see every customer as a unique opportunity to help reduce energy consumption and save that customer money. Actual savings vary, but most home or building owners can save 30% or more on their annual energy bills. Every situation is different and we offer flexible solutions that give you a choice.
Evaluation Packages
Problem Area Evaluation – Sometimes a single room or area in a house or building can be too hot or too cold even when the rest of the house is comfortable. Our evaluation will include a complete visual inspection of mechanical systems, duct work, insulation, etc. associated with that room along with infrared scanning in that room to identify any hidden problems. You’ll receive a Basic Report that details our findings and recommendations for the most cost effective solution to correct the problem.
BASIC ENERGY WISETM Home Evaluation – This package includes a top-to-bottom visual inspection of your home and all associated mechanical systems, complete with blower door and duct blaster testing, and infrared scanning to provide a detailed and comprehensive evaluation of your home or building. This package includes a Basic Home Evaluation Report that gives you detailed information and prioritized recommendations for cost effective improvements that will help you save money.
DELUXE ENERGY WISETM Home Evaluation – The most thorough and detailed energy audit available anywhere. We’ll use computer software to model your home’s energy usage while giving you a complete cost-benefit analysis for each energy-saving recommendation, plus we calculate your home’s HERS (Home Energy Rating System) Index. Knowing your home’s HERS Index is the first step in qualifying a new home for the US Department of Energy’s ENERGY STAR designation. A HERS Index might also open up the door for one of the new Energy Efficient Mortgages (EEM) for a new home, or an Energy Improvement Mortgage (EIM) for an existing home, both are designed to help pay for the cost of associated energy upgrades.
