Who are we?

ENERGY WISE CONSULTING, LLC^TM is an independent energy consulting firm that specializes energy auditing, project management, renewable energy, education, and technical consultation services to homeowners, home buyers, businesses, builders, architects, mortgage lenders, and realtors in North Mississippi for the purpose of improving the energy performance of both planned and existing homes and buildings. We're certified to provide Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Ratings in accordance with the RESNET Mortgage Industry National HERS Standards, and we work with our customers to develop a roadmap for achieving their energy conservation goals.

What is an Energy Audit?

An Energy Audit is a comprehensive evaluation of your home that combines thorough visual inspection, specialized testing equipment, and standardized testing methods to show you exactly where your home is wasting energy and how it compares to a national standard (the HERS Index).

At ENERGY WISE CONSULTING, LLC^TM we like to think of your home as a system made up of various building materials, insulation, mechanical systems, lighting, appliances, etc. that must all work together efficiently. Unfortunately, many homes weren't built with this system approach in mind and that creates an inefficient home that uses more energy, costs more to heat and cool, isn't as comfortable, and may not be as healthy to live in.
